How to use the Live assistant

SalesEcho listens to your real sales call, writes the transcript as you talk, and hands you the right line when the prospect pushes back.

Good to know

The small things that make the biggest difference.

Zoom app, Teams or a dialer? Use the desktop app

The browser can only hear a Chrome tab. For anything else, install the desktop app for Mac or Windows.

Want suggestions automatically?

Open settings and set Generation Trigger to Auto (on final utterance). A suggestion appears every time the prospect finishes a thought.

Feed it your materials

Add your pitch, pricing and objection handling in My Company. Suggestions are written from your materials, so better inputs mean better lines.

Mac app shortcuts

โŒ˜1 to โŒ˜4 switch tabs, โŒ˜โŒฅR starts recording, and โŒ˜โ‡งM collapses the window into a small floating view that sits over your call.

Pause for side chats

Talking to a colleague mid-call? Pause stops the transcript until you hit Resume, so the AI only hears the sales conversation.

Do a dry run first

Click ๐ŸŽฎ Demo on the Dashboard to pitch Casey from Warehouse IQ. It's a safe way to learn the buttons before a real prospect.

Live assistant questions

Why don't suggestions appear on their own?

By default you ask for help with the coach buttons, so the screen stays quiet until you need it. To get a suggestion after every prospect sentence, open settings and set Generation Trigger to Auto (on final utterance).

Should I use the browser or the desktop app?

The browser can hear a Chrome tab, which works for Google Meet and other calls running inside Chrome. Zoom and Teams apps, dialers and phone calls play outside the browser, so the browser can't hear them. Use the desktop app for those.

What's the difference between Coach and Script mode?

Coach mode (the default) gives you one short line, two sentences at most, that you can read aloud at a glance. Its buttons are Answer, Probe, Handle and Close. Script mode writes fuller responses, and its buttons read Answer, Question, Shield and Close. Switch under Response Mode in settings.

Can I try it without a real prospect?

Yes. Click ๐ŸŽฎ Demo on the Dashboard, or pick Mock Call during setup, to pitch Casey from Warehouse IQ, a practice prospect. It's the easiest way to learn the buttons before a real call.

Is there a time limit on live calls?

Not on a paid plan or the $1 trial. Without one, live calls are a 2-minute preview, then SalesEcho takes you straight to the review.

Can I pause the transcript?

Yes. The Pause button stops transcription (for example during an internal side conversation) and Resume picks it back up.
